Last season, I had a good year picking college games, ending the season 8-4-1 against the spread! I hope to do the same this year and hit at another 66% clip!
Washington State Cougars @ Rutgers Scarlet Knights (-3.5)
Not starting off my season with a high profile game but a game of two below average teams who will be squashed by in-conference opponents later this season. Washington State had a disastrous start to their season losing to FCS team Portland State 24-17 at home. Rutgers actually showed some promise in their opener crushing Norfolk State 63-13. Rutgers does have offensive talent, led by Senior stud WR Leonte Carroo and Senior RB Paul James. In short, they should put up points against a Washington State defense that really has no stand outs. The Cougars have a good offensive line, but they struggled to move the ball against Portland State in any facet of the game and are prone to mistakes. Though Rutgers defense is horribly average, they should contain enough to win by a touchdown or more.
